Nabadwip is a city in the Nadia district of West Bengal, India. It is situated on the western bank of the Bhagirathi river, a tributary of the Ganges. Nabadwip is famous for its religious and cultural heritage, as it was the birthplace of Shree Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, the founder of Gaudiya Vaishnavism.
